Have you ever been to a place where all you can see is GOLD?
Yes, it is gold everywhere. As usual, my friends, the ‘lakwatchera’ ever, went to Dubai’s famous gold market – the GOLD SOUQ.
Since Ruth and I work in Naif, then Gold Souq is just a walk a way. We then decided to meet up with Melani and Lucille at Ruth’s office.
We walked for 20-30 minutes, but don’t feel exhausted about the walk because along the way there are plenty stores where you can window shop. And one amazing discovery, people from different races speak ‘tagalog’. Imagine that? They’re like...’Kabayan, bili na kayo.’ or ‘Kabayan, pasok kayo.’ So who wouldn’t laugh? LOL
Ok, go back to the famous Gold Souq, I, honestly based from experience, feel bushed of the place. Ironic, it is because gold is everywhere. Same design, same style, same standard. All are chic, stylish, fashionable, elegant, and modish. Thus, to put them together, it’s like where looking at the same jewelries in hundred different stores. LOL
