I don’t know what to do anymore.

I spontaneously received 5 text messages from my Ate (elder sis) today because she’s asking if I could help her out with her finances. Honestly, I am willing to help if I just have extra resources. But like everybody else, I am also coping with my financial crisis. My job can only provide for myself; and to add more obligations may cause my budget rapidly down the drain.

I understand the situation though. She just had her bill from the hospital and now she has more for medicine. As far as I’m concern, I have our mom to provide for. I am tasked to provide our mom’s medicine and all other expenses. And if I am going to cut a portion from my budget, I don’t think I can keep up anymore. I really want to help to tell you honestly, but I need to think where to get it. I mean, I’m not turning my back on them; I just needed time to look for it. I’m not picking bucks on the road, you know, nor making fake bills.

4 long messages telling me this and that, and another 1 to make it ‘urgent’ can flame a person no matter how patient he/she might be. I already told them that I will do something about it, but at least, they shouldn’t haste me like I owe them m0ney.

It’s already 2 in the afternoon and still no progress. I have to produce the money before the day ends or else my sister will text me again. All I can give her now is my extra 500PHP on my budget. Sighs, I allocated that for my new shoes.
