I can’t imagine how people have gone crazy over hoarding rice. Honestly, I feel pity to my beloved kababayans who heed less the blistering heat of the sun just to stay in line to get 1 kilo of rice. Imagine that? I don’t understand why the government has to announce to the public this economic crisis without giving them the right thing to do. Why do they have to make the people panic?
It is not that I care less about it because I can afford to acquire rice even if it reaches 50 per kilo, it’s more of having the ‘thinking’ that this issue is nothing but political propaganda to hide the ‘ZTE scandal’ and conceal the ‘flaming’ truth to the Filipino people.
Who wouldn’t be bothered? Who’s not concerned? I am so bothered about this. I concerned a lot. Why do you think the Philippines have shortage in rice? My guess, the rice mill owners keep their supply of rice. Well, for one basic reason, they are manipulating the economy; keep the rice to increase the demand and to sell it at a higher price later. Ok well, I am not an economist, so I can’t really tell.
Whatever! This is just an opinion; you can correct me if you think I am/was misleading/misled.
