Saturday, 5^th of April 2008, dozens of my close friends, familiar faces and relatives gathered together to dedicate Baby Nissi, 7 months old, the adorable daughter of Kuya Tan and Rizza.

A week earlier, I was honored when Rizza told me that I will be one of Nissi’s godparents. Who am I to decline? Nissi is a beautiful baby and I love her so much. To be her godmother is priceless. I am close to Nissi since birth. She’s cute and absolutely irresistible… and I always carry her and play with her after Sunday service bcos we both go to the same church. Plus, Rizza made my boyfriend a godfather too, so we’re both excited to buy Nissi her gift.

Wednesday night, being so thrilled, my boyfriend and I spent time malling to look for the best gift for Nissi. We were choosing between gold and silver accessories so we went first to Unisilver shop to see some designs. But when we couldn’t find any exquisite design, we decided to rather buy gold. And yeah, we bought a gold necklace with a horse shoe pendant for Nissi.

The baby dedication went really really well. The food was great and the place was pleasant. It was fun and memorable.

I boast with happiness when I saw Nissi wore the necklace the next day. Nissi is a precious gem to her parents, so is to me and to her Tito Yancy. And she deserves the best gift we can afford to give.
