I never thought my Christmas getaway would be more than wonderful. My plan of going to CDO with my mom was cancelled bcos she could no longer take the long hours of travel. So instead, I went to the province and spend time with my whooping more than 20 nieces and nephews.

The week is busier and merrier than ever. Every night, there was something people would look up to. I left Davao on 23^rd. I visit my old friends the night of the 23^rd and we started to hang out on the 24^th.

The 24^th, Christmas celebration. I was at home with mom, 2 of my nieces, my nephew, my elder sis and her husband. We have a peaceful Christmas eve, simple talk, eat and went to bed at1am.

The 26^th, a concert was held at the municipality gym and it features the rock band – Rockin’ Zebra. The concert rocks dude! People are shouting, singing, dancing, head banging and rocking. Rockin’ Zebra first visited our town 10 years ago. Yeah, I was in my teen years that time. I had the chance to talk to them before since my friend’s family commissioned them. Through the years, the band still rock and hopefully they’ll keep rocking.

The 27^th, Disco mania. After my sleepless night on the 26^th, I spent my entire 27^th daytime sleeping cos at night will be a blast again. I went to the party with my old male friends, yes the old gang whom I spent a lot of drinking, dancing and singing. To my dismay, some can’t party with us cos they’re goddamn married and needs to take care of their child or their wives didn’t allow them to party so. Oh man, things changed. Funny it is, but there is only 3 of us left single with complicated status.

The 28^th, I and the gang went to the videoke house. It was so unfair since all I did was to sing and all they did was to drink. Being drunk is overrated, but we’re wasted, all of us.

The 30^th, Bikini Open. Wow, Wow, Wow. It is uncommon to us to see girls in their two-piece bikini but the night was filled with whistling, moaning, and giggling as those beautiful bodies laid into our eyes. Man! I felt like a man. Being with a bunch of boys and the only girl in the group, you could really see how these boys turned into their manhood. Hahaha. As the ladies shake their booty on the stage, my guys are just staring and all I could say, ‘Cheers!’.

The 31^st, New Year’s Eve. I spent it with the entire family. We rented videoke machine and sang all night. Since no one dared to buy a firecracker, I just bought party poppers. It was a merry celebration and we have prepared a lot – I also ate a lot.

With all the liquors and food I had during the holiday, obviously I gained weight. LOL
