Is it, isn’t it? Women tried their best to do things on their own, and that’s a FACT. But a man’s offer for a help, especially if we (women) need it, is rather heartwarming. It’s not my intention nor I planned it to feel horrible to a guy, it just happen. I need help but I can always say “No, thank you” to a guy if I see he’s not really willing. But beyond that, a simple “Need Help?” will do consideration against the bad impression. Unfortunately, a large percent of men don’t possess the character and one of them is the person I got to contact with yesterday. Issue decided to be closed, erased and forgotten. I am sincerely hoping, men will realize the importance of being gentle, respectful, caring and kind, especially to women. Labels: care for women, chivalry, chivalry is dead, men, women

Do you really think chivalry is dead? If that's the case then I'm sad for you. There are still many people willing to help each other out. Not that you can tell from halfway around the world but I will be around to help you when you need me. Whatever I can do for you I will because you're important to me.

Chivalry might NOT be FULLY dead, but i know it is dying. I can still see gentleman around the area though, however, it is not implying that i have to change views about the matter. I never saw a guy who's 'naturally' born that way. I mean, guys do things just to please the girl they liked, not more than anything.
I can say 'chivalry is NOT dead' if i see a guy helping an old woman to cross the street. Period. O-O

Chivalry is not yet dead for goodness sake. At least, I'm still keeping it alive. But, it ain't really a surprise to see the numbers decline. Chivalry isn't the usual give and take. It virtaully does not pay off. You don't get anything but self-gratification, heck you can get that anywhere. And most of the time, people aren't really appreciative. Most of them will tell you off and I jsut don't know where the heck did they learn their manners from.
Yesterday, the subway broke down and everyone was rushing up the stairs. There was this lady who is having a hard time carrying her stroller, with her little son in it. No one really cared so I stepped in and asked if I could help. Since there was a lot of people, I carried the stroller up the stairs for 15 min. And the mom said a really warm thank you.
I guess that's all people need in exchange for chivalry but humans have become practical over time. Still, there are still people keeping it alive so never say die.
