I was about to go out for lunch with Choi when I saw my boss at the Main Building entrance wearing his summer shorts paired with a plain white t-shirt. I couldn’t help myself from laughing cos the ‘get-up’ simply means ‘he went to work NOT on purpose’ – and It proved me right. He said, he needed to submit something before he leaves for Iloilo. I teased him, his excitement for the summer getaway had brought him to the office like that, oh how a boss in a summer outfits at the office could be? My boss laughed out loud. (You have no idea how loud he laughs, every time that is heh) Actually, my boss is a kindhearted person (though there is an exaggeration to this! heh). We love him cos he has a very BIG pocket. He treats us pizza for snacks, bought us this and that. Beyond that, he likes to take us to some fancy restaurants which we didn’t even know existed. Bliss, cos he couldn’t resist our (his staffs) smiles so he had to pull his wallet off his pocket, grab some crispy bills and there we go… food is on the way. That day, though it is nothing special (as the ‘treats’ became common), he invited us for lunch. Isn’t it obvious, he hadn’t resisted our charms… again? Heh. So, we went to a new steak house, somewhere in Maa. The place was fine, the steak is so good, and it’s not crowded. Out of the blue, our boss talked about his past relationships. (ehem!) And we couldn’t imagine that he was an infamous playboy in his younger days! (Pasensya na Sir, firmly YOUNGER days ako gisulat hehe). Rumors flooded our innocent conversation; it never stops even while driving back to the office. Tsismis! So we talked about his iniquitous flings and past relationships. Who would have thought eh? *burst into laughing* oh no, I can’t spill the beans cos I’m dead meat if he found out. So, the ladies were someone he knew, we knew, and they knew. *psssssssssh* But whatever, you can never find a boss as good as him. (pambawi!) And hmmm, ok, he’s good-looking, kind, intelligent and funny. However, those I mentioned earlier make him retarded, flip, corny and nerd. (Atik lng Sir). Above all – JMR, our E-Learning Department Director, is the best! (Both positive and negative heh) Labels: boss, e-learning department, joel m reyes, pizzahut
